Music Therapy Intern
Jessica Wood grew up in the Bay Area and has loved singing at a young age. She attended Azusa Pacific University for her undergraduate degree in music education. After receiving her bachelor’s degree she has been teaching music for the past 6 years to Kindergarten-Junior High ages as well as working with children with developmental disabilities. Jessica has finished her coursework with University of the Pacific for her equivalency degree in music therapy and just started her internship with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. She is inspired to use music to change people’s lives and to help children reach their goals while they are at the hospital. Jessica is excited to be a part of the Peterson Family Foundation Music Therapy Program for her internship.
