Abigail’s layers

Abigail is a young patient-artist who completed an intensive inpatient physical rehab program at Benioff Children’s Hospital. Part of Abby’s inpatient experience included art therapy. Below is Abby’s series of self portraits. Prior to her admission at the hospital Abby felt the need to completely separate her outer expressions from her inner feelings, her artwork explores this dilemma.
