Intensive Care Nursery Siblings

Being a new big brother or sister is an exciting job! Performing these duties gets a little more complicated when your baby brother or sister is in the Intensive Care Nursery (ICN). UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco hosted their very first ICN Sibling Group. In this class our siblings practiced how to use walking feet and quiet voices, what to expect to see when they visit their baby brother or sister, and learned a fun hand washing song to teach them how to wash their hands when entering the ICN. It was a fun and educational morning; we can’t wait to do it again soon! For more information about our music therapy program, visit: https://ucsfmusictherapy.org
