Our New Music Therapy Intern!

Richard Fiallos received his undergraduate degree in piano performance from the University of the Pacific and is currently back at Pacific working towards getting his certification and Master’s in music therapy. He is excited and honored to be a part of the UCSF community as a music therapy intern and would like to express thanks to his family, ancestors, friends, and everyone who has helped to make this opportunity a reality for him. He looks forward to developing his skills and working and building relationships with patients through music. Outside of music therapy, he works as a piano instructor and freelance accompanist. He is passionate about mental health advocacy and learning about other cultures. In his free time, he enjoys beautiful scenery, drawing, cooking, eating spicy food, watching horror, fantasy, and sci-fi films, and cuddling with his cats. He's also a fan of The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy video game franchises.
