New Music Therapy Intern-Caroline
Caroline is currently earning a Master's in Music Therapy from Colorado State University, and is so happy to be here with the Music Therapy team at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco for her internship!
Originally from the foothills of Colorado, she earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Colorado in choral music education and voice performance. Caroline started playing piano at age five, and her love of music continued to grow. She has worked as a private voice and piano teacher, taught middle and high school choirs, directed youth musical theatre, and performed in a variety of groups including choirs, musical theatre, operas, jazz groups, and funk bands.
Caroline loves working with young people and traveling wherever she can. These two passions combined when she spent a year in France teaching high school English and two summers leading groups of American teenagers to France. Caroline spends her free time hiking, trying new food, and exploring as much of this beautiful city as she can. She is delighted to be in San Francisco and is looking forward to making meaningful moments with the BCH patients and families through music!
